Blog 9: Changes to My Study Program.

Hi! Today I talk about changes that could be better in my Study Programs.

One of the things I would change would be the modules. I would add those that are really necessary, and eliminate those that do not belong to our work and professional area. For example; It would enhance those modules that are prerequisite for postural to Master or Doctorate programs in International Conservatories, in order to arrive with the necessary knowledge to approve entry applications.

We have some modules that only serve us to work in areas that do not cover the work or performance environment. In that sense, we should take advantage of the time in a module that does provide us with tools in these areas.

In our career of musical performance, our faculty must provide us with spaces to perform concerts frequently, since it is important to train in front of the public. Currently it is very difficult to get dates or places to do concerts in our own university!

Regarding the infrastructure, we have old musical instruments that have not had a guarantee or technical service for many years. For this reason, those of us who play the piano always study on poorly maintained instruments.
Out of 10 pianos, only 1 is in tune and in concert condition. That makes the demand for this unique piano in good condition really high.

I consider it necessary that we reflect on the conditions of our university, it is our second home for several years, we are almost every day in it and for several years. Likewise, we must take care of the infrastructure and discuss the changes that can improve this space and achieve an optimal environment for the professional development of students.
